D2FORGED State Of The Union

At D2FORGED we consistently strive to provide the best service to all of our customers past, present and future. We do this by processing and completing custom wheel orders in a timely fashion on a daily basis while simultaneously maintaining communication with our customers.
Realizing that communication is essential to our customer base, we are issuing this statement to address concerns our customers may have about D2’s turnaround time on deliveries.
Ironically, the main reason we are experiencing delivery issues is because there is a high demand for our product. This is great for our business but as a result of the influx of sales we were inundated with purchase orders which became backlogged. To rectify this we implemented the following corrective actions:
• We’ve expanded our production resources and hired additional sales staff. This means even better customer support, faster replies on forums, social networking sites, email and telephone.
• Hired two new engineers and a new production manager to assist with design and engineering. The net result is reduced design time, quicker R&D, and improved raw materials management.
• We also confronted the issue head on by asking our dealers to increase quoted production times to 10-12 weeks, as well as reducing sales promotional programs.
• These corrective measures served to slash our backlog by 90%! We will be back to our 5-6 lead times very soon!
We sincerely apologize to our customers who have endured this process while waiting for the delivery our gorgeous wheels. We are well aware that our success is solely dependent on you, our customers and our biggest goal is to provide the highest customer satisfaction.
As a growing small business, this was a pretty stressful situation for everyone at our company and we have learned from our mistakes and are highly dedicated to circumventing issues of this kind in the future.
Please know that we are not a large corporation interested only in profits. We are humble entrepreneurs who started D2 with a passion for cars and the auto industry. With this passion and your support we will continue to strive for excellence at D2.

We would also like to add that many more things from us are coming in the near future. We love to work with automotive enthusiasts around the world and that's why we love our job! As most of you know, we take a personal approach to each and every customer and that's why we needed to address the issue this way!
