    ^ thanks for the input.

I agree: winter tires are made to provide safety in winter conditions.

I ordered 5 Blizzaks and will try them out this upcoming winter on my G; my car will be at the dealer end of December. I'll post back then.

Returned the Blizzaks and ordered 5 Toyo OBSERVE OPEN COUNTRY G-02 PLUS.

The Toyo is factory size at 275-55-19 while the BLizzak were at 255-60-19

I am told the Toyos are as good as the Blizzak and have a longer thread life.

    We'll see ...

Never mind the Toyos. Apparently it's a tire know for getting a flat and gives this "floating" feeling ...

for winter tires, narrower is better. the smaller contact patch allows a better connection to the asphalt in snow covered situations. the blizzaks are known for a shorter tread life, it goes with the territory given their unique rubber compound.

Yes, you are right. I regret to have returned the Blizzaks now

But I can get them back, a friend who owns a garage ordered them for me and he still has them ...

Plus the Toyo is known to have that floating feel and supposedly has a lot of flats.
