Follow my order with ADV1 and WB.
I ordered a set of ADV1's for my 458 from Ben @ WB and thought it would be interesting for others to see how the process works. This is my 3rd set of wheels from WB in the last 2 months and the 1st two sets were delivered as promised and within the projected time frame. Service and communication were outstanding in both transactions. One set was D2 and the other HRE's.
I was a little reluctant ordering ADV1's to be honest due to the long waits. Not that I don't understand how long it takes to get custom wheels done. I can't even count the number of wheels that I've had made for various cars. Regardless, this is my 1st set of ADV1's and I'm pretty excited about how these are going to look on the 458.
I placed my order with WB on 9/17 and they were put in to ADV1's system on 9/21. They have a very nice tracking system that allows you to follow your build. The steps are from 1a-5 which is set for delivery and I'm currently at 1a after 3 weeks. I was given a 6 week time frame and it looks like this is very possible. I'll update this thread weekly and then finally post some pictures of them on my car after I receive them.

Almost forgot, I ordered the 5.1 SL's in brushed to go on my red car. Car is being lowered on sport springs as we speak so I'll be ready for the wheels when they arrive.
I'd love to know what others have experienced. ThanksLast edited by TexasZ; 10-13-2012 at 01:04 PM.

I think it depends if they have to input new info into the CNC process to cut the wheels. I ordered some 3 pc. 5.0 TS for my GT-R last month. THey were already in the computer and my wheels were ready for my vendor to pick up in almost exactly 3 weeks.

Those wheels look nice, better than the standard factory wheels (but I prefer the premium factory wheels over anything else) --- that said, you'll likely be very happy with your purchase, those wheels look great.

I don't think you will be happy with spacers. Actually, the sidewall on my rear tires also bothers me a little bit, it's pretty tall for a car like this.
Ultimately, I love the factory wheels and hate the offsets so I found a wheel that I think will look as good or better but fit correctly.'12 Ford Raptor
