Default Same wheel design. Your deciding factors?

So you find a wheel design you like. You then look at other manufacturers and see that they too have the same 'looking' wheel (in this case, all 1 pce. monoblock). Pricing from one set to the other can be as much as a 4k difference!

What's the deciding factor for you?

Brand alone, wheel weight, strength of wheel, price alone, reputation of manufacturer, etc.., etc.

Reputation, customer service, price. I don't care as much about weight

All 3 of those look alike. Since they are built similarly, the weight will be close and not really a factor. Out of these 3 I'd probably take the cheapest.

if you're going with that style(which I love), I'd absolutely go with the BBS Fi. My buddy Jason sourced one of the first sets, and if it's good enough for the 599 GTO, it would be good enough for me.

Fronts are 19lbs, rears are 21lbs.

Weight is actually quite a difference with the BBS FI in the mix.

Yep, I've spoke with Jason via another forum about them. And for the record, fronts are 17.5 lbs, and rears are 20.3 lbs. Incredibly light and strong!!

Guess he was wrong on what he posted over there ha, I took those weights straight from his post.

I think 4 Play needs to call Mr. Carter for some wheels....

It's also a similar design to the ADV5.01 and Vorsteiner VS-110. I would say $$$ is a factor but so is quality. If it were me, I would get the best quality for the $$$. With that being said, all of the mentioned brands in this thread do have the quality behind their name (I'm unsure or COR, though). I would get weights of each wheel from each company and pricing on each set then make a judgement call. I would be more than glad to round up all the info for you, if you just let me know what size/sizes and for what car.

Feel free to call me, PM me, or email me at anytime.

Another guy actually posted the same wheels for the Scuderia and showed them being weighed on an industrial digital scale. Either way, they have got to be the lightest wheel out there for that car.

    Hey Carter...
Yeah, I was gonna include the VS-110 in the mix, but figured everyone would get the picture with those three I posted. I have priced them all, and am pretty sure I've gotten the best pricing on all (except for maybe the PUR wheel). Hence the 4k difference of the three. If any of these three is more of an unknown, I would think it's the PUR wheels. There price was actually very expensive considering (i.m.o.).
I'm surprised you're not familiar with COR being in the wheel industry now. COR actually makes a big percentage of the wheels out there that are just labeled A,B,or C. They are West coasts main distributor of wheel manufacturers.
I'm going to actually assume you did know that, but just may have loyalties to others? ;-)
