Default Shipping Tire Packages -- How Acute Performance Does It!

    Hi Everyone

Proper packaging is very important when shipping wheels with tires. Here are some pictures of a completed setup that's ready to go to Kuwait. To date, we have shipped over 20+ sets across the world via boat and air without any problems or damages.

First step is to put a piece of 1/4" thick foam on top of the face to protect the arguably most important part of the wheel from any damage. Then we use heavy duty corrugated cardboard to sandwich the wheel. Finally, everything is put together by 3-1/2" high tensile straps that can support up to 400 lbs.

    Here is the completed product:

As you can see it's all in the details, we take things very seriously from start to finish to make sure that the product you ordered arrives on your doorstep in flawless condition.

Thanks for the lesson. There's only one problem -- I do this all out of my garage at home.

You should tape down the straps. I've personally seen situations where those straps walk, and fall off the wheel. Taping them down will prevent that from happening.

Great idea. I do always check to make sure the straps on there tight but I'll add the tape from now on. Thanks!
