Just joined the 4, quick introduction
Hi folks -
I just joined the forum after reading all 40+ pages of that McLaren F1 thread...damn that guy Peloton25 knows a lot about those cars! The whole thread instantly gave me a good feeling about L4P so I dove in.
Anyway, I'm in northern California (Burlingame) and drive a Lotus Elise. Despite having been into cars and motorcycles all my life, this is my first semi-exotic car (is the Elise an exotic? I don't know). Hopefully there will be more in the future.
I also love vintage european cars. I'd like to pick up a 1969'ish 911/912 in the next couple years -- either fully restored or as a project.
Hopefully I'll be able to contribute a bit to the forum. I certainly see a lot of exotics on Burlingame Ave and will try to remember to post them to the Northern California sightings thread...I already post them all on Google+ here (and have a much bigger sightings archive on Facebook but the Google+ posts are public.)
BTW is there a mobile app for the forum?

Thanks! That picture was taken after a 15+ hour paint correction.
The previous owner must have been using less than ideal washing techniques and introduced some swirl marks (or they could have been there from the factory.) Probably nobody else would have noticed, but I'm pretty anal about that stuff.
2 bucket washing FTW!

Supercar sunday? Is that down in LA? If so, no...I'm up near San Francisco.
But I have checked out the Santana Row event every once in awhile.
