Thread: Porsche Aircraft Experience in Northern Cali

I will be attending this and thought that some of you may want to as well. This is in Santa Rosa. I believe that they will be doing one in SoCal later this year but could be mistaken. Sorry for the late notice

Get there VERY early. Arrived about 15 minutes after the gates "officially" opened for the event in Denver. The line was already about 60 deep and the were signing up people for time slots 4 hours later. It sucked and I left. Would have been different if I had showed earlier though

I got there about 11:20 ish and it opened at 10am. But met a few guys that swapped me one of their times since they were leaving as they already drove. So I got to drive at 1pm. Drove the 997 GTS and the Cayenne Turbo. Wanted to try out the Panamera Turbo S but time was up and it was time for only hot laps. It was fun in the Panamera and the Cayenne

I got there just at 10a, and was in session 2, had time to grab a donut and look at some planes before the shuttle was ready. Drove GTS and Panamera Turbo S

The event was a disappointment, last year's event in Half Moon Bay was better, last year they also had a street drive.
