Thread: Anyone in LA want to go race a Hyundai Veloster for free?

I just got this email, and normally I would go to it, but its conflicting with something else.


Its a free event from hyundai, and autoweek to try out the new veloster.

I know its a hyundai, but they are going places.

But it is nov 12-13

looks like noon-7 on sat
and noon-6 on sunday

I see info about ride & drive, I don't see anything about racing them

They set up an auto x course.

Or so they have at every event I have been to. I think its about 6 now

That might be fun, depending on how many laps you get to do. If I have to spend all day to be able do 2 or 3 laps I wouldn't bother.

Every event is different. I have been to some where its just drive till they say stop, where some are do 3 laps.

I hear ya, you takes your chances & you can't complain when it's a freebie!

I talked to a friend, and they should have both race spec velosters there

When they had the hyundai genesis one, you where able to actually drive it to its max at the track.
