I bought my Saleen in April of 2009 with 11,000 miles on it. it's a Sonic Blue 2004 convertible. It's a NA model with just a few minor bolt-on's... Subframe connectors, front control arms, and Bassani midpipe and catback...

very nice. never a big mustang fan, but the saleens, and the 03 cobras i loved.

corerect me if im wrong, but isnt that a roush hood not a saleen?

reason i was asking was me and an old friend went to that area and picked up a nitrous kit from someone with a white saleen, this many MANY years ago, not that i think about, prolly back in like 03-04 lol.

we havent had a GTG for sacramento yet, we keep talking about it, but it hasnt happened.

The hood is the factory 01-04 GT hood that you get if you don't order the Saleen lightweight hood. All they do is put a different insert in the non-functional scoop and remove the honeycomb plastic. As far as I know Roush never produced their own hood for the 99-04 cars. I think stage 1 and 2 Roush's have the stock GT hood, and stage 3 cars got the 99/01 Cobra hood.

Ah, well if a bunch of Sac area people are going to WekFest in San Fran, we could probably all roll out together.

Lets actually try and plan a GTG, I'm willing to and can try and get some people together!

Elk Grove. Have seen a Red R8. White Maserati, but don't know the model. A white with blue striped GT500, a grey Gallardo, blue Cobra (most likely kit) a blue Z06, Grey with orange calipers GT-R, and a black on black GT-R, and an F430 in red. Also recently saw a orange Gallardo Spyder.
