Thread: COLORADO L4P MEET, anyone?

Hello CO L4P members,
I just wanted to throw it out there that we should have a meet! I was thinking maybe a scenic drive and lunch...something to get people together to get to know one another and build the L4P camaraderie! Is anyone interested in this? Can we make it happen in July? I was thinking it would be in the Denver/CO Springs area. Does anyone else have any ideas?

P.S. I am also working on putting together a photo shoot to help a friend build his portfolio. Anyone interested in lending their car(s) for this? It'd just be for fun, and you would be able to get copies of the photos. Let me know

My cars aren't very photogenic right now because they're still partially in winter mode, but your friend is more than welcome to use my car under certain conditions

1) I get copies
2) No high heels against the car, or anyone sitting on the car

I was trying to arrange something for July 16th in Denver. Early July doesn't work for me, because I'll be out in Seattle. We were going to try to get a group to go co-carting, and people did seem interested, but the thread died when I got thread jacked.

I would for sure be open to it. I'm in a pretty central location so downtown denver to anywhere in south east aurora area where my office is i'm open to it.

speaking of go carts I was just at Speed Raceway /// Indoor European Electric Karting & Kart Racing /// Denver, Colorado on Sunday and it was pretty fun.

There's a few gocart places in the Denver area. There's one out in Thornton that has a bungee drag racing strip too.

Yes we can definitely respect those guidelines

As for July 16, there is a Ladies Driving School at HPR that day that I was going to sign up for...Could we do the meet on the 17th ? Or would that conflict for you?

Go-carting would be fun. I live close to Unser Racing by the Highway 36 and I-25, and I've heard it's a lot of fun!

Honestly, the only time that doesn't specifically work for me is the beginning of July. My sister-in-law is coming in during mid-July, so I'm trying to schedule it around that time so I can get away from her. She drives me nuts!

Chalituna would probably be up for it as well. He's from down here in the Springs. I wouldn't invite people from some of the other local forums. CRN guys are OK, but a lot of the other local forums are filled with idiots that drive like they have a death wish.

Cool, well we'll have to make it an official meet soon...
