    Default How far away is Salinas from Montery/PB?

    How long of a drive is it to, or from each way? On the map looks like it's about 20-30 miles? So I'm guessing it's 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic?? Am I close?

    Depending on how fast you drive, anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. It wouldn't be horrible for Car Week (i'm assuming that's what its for), but I would exhaust all other options before staying there. Maybe see if you can get some kind of vacation rental? I got a house in downtown Carmel a while back for this upcoming August, but maybe you will get lucky and something will still be available.

    I would avoid most places to stay in Salinas, unless it's in the River Rd area.
