FrankyFerrari at Thunderhill 4/10/09
Franky and I were at Thunderhill this past Friday having fun with our cars. Franky was too busy to video my lap, but I got his lap around the TH track in his F360 Stradale. At various places, I am hiding the camera from the track crew not to get black flagged.
I ended up spinning my car once, no harm done, got back on the track and started mastering it. Franky had the perfect lines already as you can see.
We had an instructor, Dave Wilson, who was just simply awesome. He is fully recommended and available for coaching. Please PM me or Franky for his info.
Here is the video:

Very good job setting up his car. It is so balanced. However, the instructor took it around the course a few laps and Franky and I were watching him. At the limit, the car snaps into oversteer. The instructor was able to correct, I wonder if Franky can!! Around the same corner, my GT3 snapped into oversteer, I spun the car. I stayed on the track and brought it into pits.

^^^The car is set up way more neutral that a stock Stradale. Oversteer at the limit is a function of driving technique. As you know, any car can be made to induce oversteer depending how you apply the throttle or even brake while loaded in a corner. I know of Dave Wilson. I think a more realistic evaluation is "TheStig" chasing down a well driven Scuderia and passing the other driver (not MTK) with Frankys Stradale at Thunderhill. Remember a Stradale is giving up 80hp and about 75ft lbs of torque!
