Today on 280 South. I think it's a Jaguar but not sure if it's a test vehicle for a newer model or prototype of some sort. Didn't have any badges on the front end. Does anyone know what model it is? I like it! ...Couldn't get shots of the front end.

    That isn't a jaguar, it's a Tesla Model S I believe.

Note the flush-mount door handles (they pop out when you touch them.) I think it's the only car that has that and since they're headquartered in the bay area it makes sense they have test cars running around.

Interesting. Didn't think it was a Tesla. I'd like to see one up close.

An hour ago on 4th ave

    Perfect wheel choice.

Yep, definitely a Tesla Model S... such a beautiful car. You can see one in person at the Tesla Store in Santana Row in San Jose. They even have a naked chassis with all of components on display. I'm not a fan of electric cars, but I think Tesla has got it right.

Not sure if they have an outlet up in the City yet, but in Santana Row in San Jose, they have a store with a Model S inside you can see up close.

One thing I hate about current crop of electric cars is how weird they look. To me, the Model S is the first electric car that looks "normal". And, I think they did a great job of styling it, at least on the outside. I think they could dress up the interior a bit more, but hopefully more interior refinements will be coming.

If I had the $$$ to drop on a new vehicle right now, I would seriously consider the Model S, with the 300 mile battery pack.

I'll take a trip down there and check it out. They don't have in in the Palo alto showroom? Tesla definitely did it right with the design on this model. Had me fooled thinking it was a Jag. lol I really like the design and the lines on the car. Will check it out in person soon.

Spotted a maroon Elise in Fremont before sunrise today. Then in SF spotted a black Granturismo in Nob Hill, along with a white 1 Series M and a red California. In the Pacific Heights area two black Quattroporte's within 5 mins of each other along with a black with black wheels Tesla Model S. Then near the Palace of Fine Arts a silver Z8. In the Marina District at the Safeway parking lot a red first gen NSX along with a black Continental GTC. Spotted another black Granturismo near the Embarcadero. At North Beach a black R8 V8, white ISF a bunch of E92 M3's and finally in the Financial District another black Quattroporte. Not a bad day!!

That's a lot of running around! Are you in Sales by chance, so you travel throughout the area every day?

Oh, and thanks for all the pics and videos...cool stuff!
