This Friday will be the KANGOL VENICE grand opening presented by Vapors Magazine. This event will not only be celebrating the opening of Kangol’s first LA retail location, but also the 70th Anniversary of one of the most revered headwear brands in the world. Founded in Cumbria, England in 1938, Kangol has been worn by everyone from the WWII British military, to the trailblazers of the hip-hop generation of the 1980’s to the most recognizable celebrities in the world. Today the brand has collaborated with some the most influential contemporary artists and designers like Fragment, Evil Monito, alife, SSUR, INSA, D*Face, Commes Des Garcons and Catherine Malandrino.

Taking place in Venice’s exclusive Abbot Kinney shopping district, the event will feature music by LA up & coming DJs MARSHALL BARNES & ROYAL RUMBLE. As if that wasn’t enough, how about an open bar courtesy of SVEDKA VODKA and 20% of the entire store?!

Ha, was lookin' for this thread, I ended up next door at the art gallery and was thinkin' where are the hats? Drank a free wine ate some nice food, then went next door to find illpayne to drink up, again. Then I had to bounce off to Kress. Bleh.
