Anyone here going to this event this year, last year was great and i hope do attend and participate again this year!!!

We're gearing up for the
5th Annual Motor4Toys Event!
DECEMBER 7, 2008

This year we expect to see over 5,000 cars
and we will be at a NEW LOCATION
The Anthem Building in Warner Center (Blue Cross)
21555 Oxnard St. Woodland Hills, CA 91367

As always, this event is all about the fantastic car community bringing it all together, and we definitely need your help: Please call, email, post, and tell EVERYONE you know. There are now more children than ever who will be in need and lets come to their rescue.
Every kid deserves a toy!

Very interesting, let me see if we can put a L4P crew together and come down for this great cause.

^with your guys' machines, you would def. move the crowd

they park the cars by 'where its made' so if you guys do come down, i will park the QP next to your GT

Allow me to be VERY clear about this:

There is no one person that makes this event happen. Every singe person who attends this event, that brings a toy(s), donates to the raffle, donates time, service, money, makes a phone call, a post, invited a friend or a car club, ALL OF YOU MAKE THIS EVENT HAPPEN! THANK YOU!

What a day! There were a lot of cars……! There were approximately 3200 cars that attended!

We collected approximately 11,000 toys. We raised approximately $25,000.

Please note that we still have over 75 boxes of toys still coming, We are still placing toy collection boxes (as we collect throughout the holidays) and we still have to go and buy toys with all the money we raised! We will do better than our 15,000 toy goal! This year was an overwhelming success thanks to all of you. I can't say it enough THANK YOU!

Also, we are always open to suggestions, anything to make this event bigger, better, more successful please send an email with your thoughts. Thank you all for everything!

This is an amazing event. Last year we tried breaking the Ferrari world record, but we were shy, on a happy note we broke the toy record from the previous year, that is far more important. I hope everyone comes down to this and brings at least one toy.

I think there is a nor cal event on the same day for the same cause... I could be mistaken

Here is what I was talkig about: Is this the same organization?
Toy Drive / Car Show Dec 7th 2008

Location: 5666 Pirrone Rd Salida, Ca 95368 / Exit Hammit Rd off HWY 99. In 4 Wheel Parts Parking lot. CAN EASILY BE SEEN FROM FREEWAY. LOCATED ON FRONTAGE RD. Salida is between Stockton and
Modesto.

Time/Date: Car show vehicles must arrive between 8:00am and 9:45 am. Car Show/Toy Drive will be from 10:30am to 5:00 pm. This event will be held on Dec 7th 2008.

Purpose: Strike Speed Auto, 4 Wheel Parts and Daft Innovations have teamed up with the Salvation Army to have a car show to get toys for less fortunate kids in the surrounding community's in Northern California. This will be the third drive that SSAUTO has organized consecutively.

Admission: Bring a toy for the entry fee. There will be Barrels supplied around the location for toy drop off.

The goal here is to target a large group of people and not leave anything out. We are hoping for old school jdm, new school jdm/vip. Old school muscle as well as new school muscle cars. Other things that we are trying to get is lifted and lowered trucks, Rock crawlers. Stunt bike crews will be a plus. We are trying to target everyone and not favor one type of style/make/model.
