Default When is good time to cruise in Malibu?

I have not been driving in the malibu canyons in years, because there are so many cyclists. I was wondering if there is time that more cars go, because there are less bicycles.

saturday and sunday, its crazy packed with exotics and motorcycles. U have to be really careful though because of the amount of cars/bikes that are in there, not as many bicycles as motorcycles though.

i've done a few weekday runs, in the afternoons. still a few cyclists, but not as bad as on the weekends. I just went this past Saturday, complete circus with all the paparazzi and tourists. there were people walking down the snake even! getting out of hand.

Yes, exactly. I hit up the snake and i was in shock at how many people are there riding there bikes or walking. I can only go driving on the weekends. Was wondering if there is a time its more quiet, otherwise i might as well leave it in the garage.

I used to go drive drive up there on weekday mornings sometimes, as it was hardly a detour from my daily route, and it was completely empty, great time to have a little fun without worrying about other people and men in uniform

I'll be putting together the official Malibu meet and canyon drive soon. Stay tuned

But as for driving in the canyons. Any weekday is good never the weekends period. And the "snake" aka Mulholland is the worst road to drive.

    Try other canyons besides Mulholland.
