    Default Breitling = Fossil?!?!?!

So the other day I stopped by a local grocery store (kind of like Wholefoods but local) to have some coffee with a buddy. When I got up to pay the cashier and said she really liked my watch and asked if it was Fossil. My buddy just started laughing and I told her no it was a Breitling SA, and of course she had never heard of it, but she wanted to know where I got mine because she wanted to get her husband a new watch for his bday. There is only one really high end jeweler in town, and they are the only Breitling AD in town, when I told her where to check them out and ask for Rob (the owner) her eyes about popped out of her head. Just thought this was funny, and now all my friends give me sh*t about my "Fossil" lol.

Anyone else have any funny stories about their watches?

Yeah, one day this important CEO really wanted to wow me and come work for his movie department to replace the one that just died so he sent me an Audemar Piguet and then invited me and my wife out to Geneva to watch him buy the company because he doesn't **** around with billion dollar deals.

Not as bad, but when I was riding the train, I was asked if my Lum-tec was a fossil.

I usually get exactly the opposite...I have a watch that looks super expensive but was only like $250. Everyone wants to know what kind it is and I tell them it's custom

Maybe "Super expensive" was overstating it a bit.

I was laughing at the OP's story. I wore a watch like yours when I went to a ghetto HS my freshman and sophomore year. Some indian guy sold this bling sh*t for like $60-$200 for watches and chains and pendants at the mall.
