    Default Halios 1000M "Puck"

Speaking of new watches the hottest thread on WUS is the release and delivery of the first round of the 1000m. Phuck I want me a Puck even though it's an ugly Duck. Here is a thread I did on it a while back:

Bronze is the latest rage. Your gonna have to settle for an Oliver or Lum-Tec Bronze. The Halios Puck is a straight Tuna Can. While not as gnarly as the 22mm tall Helson Bronze Guage its an attractive option for less than half.

Speaking of the Halios "Puck", I was surprised to see that a mesh bracelet wasn't included in the package. IMO it looks much better on a mesh bracelet than on the included SS link bracelet.

A bunch of boutique watch companies, mostly diver-centric companies, are jumping on and cashing in on the bronze trend right now.

Just a few off the top of my head:

    - Helson Shark Diver 45mm Bronze (Available now)
    - Armida A1 Bronze (Pre-order phase, I believe)
    - Benarus Moray Bronze (Sold out, but more coming later this year)
    - Zenton Bronze (Sold out)
    - Kazimon 1500 Bronze (Only 5 produced... )

Ya, those too. I believe the Helson is not yet available and the Armida will be.

Definitely want an Olivier for my first bronzo. These gauges are cool, but not for me given the case thickness

the case thickness is just insane. i do like the very clean dials and the straight forward no nonsense of these watches though.

Armida, Zenton and Helson are Chinese companies using Swiss movements...Sal, could you live with that? Also, on the Armida site they are offering a one year warranty. I would be nervous about buying a new brand that's only covered for a year.
