Default Lum Tec M Chrono quartz question

Hey guys, I got a question. Just got my Lum Tec M32 yesterday and I am finding that my watch stops moving after I set it down for a few hours but when I pick it up and move it around it starts going again which is weird because it's a quartz. I am confused.

I should also add that once it is running, it runs normally. Isn't slow or anything.

Do I need to replace the battery or what? Can someone explain what I should do? This isn't an automatic watch so it doesn't have a power reserve... Etc.

    Thanks!

Is it just the seconds hand that stops moving? It's possible you've accidentally pressed the top pusher, which stops/starts the chrono function of the watch.. Maybe try pressing the top pusher again?

i was thinking the same thing. The big seconds hand doesnt move unless the chrono is activated. The small seconds sub dial in the middle is what is always moving

Yeah the sub dial stops moving. My watch compeletly stops moving.

Then when I pick it up or have to change the time again because it stopped, it starts moving again. So this is pretty weird.

I'm thinking I might need to replace the battery...
