The 2K watch area is fraught with danger, many over priced yet under achieving watches in that price point.
It would be my advice to save for the PAM.

if you are going to shop used, try watchrecon.com. basically a search engine for several of the popular watch forums. at that price point, i really like my hamilton railroad.
