    Talking My birthday gift...

Got a gift today from my wife for my birthday and even though it was not a watch (she gave me a Rolex Submariner last year) it is something that I will be able to use for my watches! Yes, she got me a light box kit and boy am I excited to take pics. Took a quick pic tonight to test it out and I think the results are not bad... choose the beautiful Rolex Submariner my wife got me last year to be the model... what do you guys think?

Awesome Brian and happy b-day! You should try out a circular polarizer and see if you can reduce some of the glare on that crystal. Congrats.

This was my first shot with the light box so I still have a lot to learn lol... I think it is a bit overexposed right now. I have a tendency to go brighter for some reason. I'll try to fix it later tonight to see if I can improve the image.

Great pics, talk about thinking outside the box for your Birthday present (haha, cwhatIdidthere?).

That's amazing! Been thinking of getting something like this for my shop. Would definitely help my life so much with the pictures I have to take for the website. I think you have me convinced to pick one up.

So after reading Jeff's awesome tutorial on how to reduce glare I've retouched my photos and this is what came out... thanks Jeff!!!

By the way when I went to bed last night I found this extra gift waiting for me on my side of the bed...
