L4P GTG Report ~ 12/17/11
Want to start out by thanking Sal for arranging this L4P GTG and for all the awesome free stuff that he brought for the gang!!! He even raffled a brand new G-Shock Rescue and a Rob strap! Outstanding my friend. Thanks also to sgrenald for bringing several watches from his collection, it was nice being able to see the different watches. I hope we can arrange more of these fun GTGs in the future. It was really nice to meet everyone... Panopticon (and your friend), Hugo B, TechArt Dreamer, sgrenald... too bad orlando333 and his Devon were MIA. Personally I had a great time and already look forward to the next GTG!
Unfortunately the lighting inside Cheesecake Factory was less than ideal but we still managed to snap a few to share... Onto the pics!!!
Here's my B&R with Panopticon's watches...

Always been a fan of ML... The back of it is just gorgeous.

Panopticon's friend's Hammy.

Sal brought with him the Ennebi that is in the sales section... now this is a BIG watch. Made my B&R feel small. Doesn't look too bad on my wrist uh?

The height on this thing is ridiculous!!! Makes the DeepSea look thin.

sgrenald's Lum-Tec collection... with Sal's Raymond Weil in the middle.

A few pics of Sal's gifts.

Onto more watches... my watch with some of sgrenald's Lum-Tecs.

The Phantom.

Tungsten with Meteorite dial! Very sexy dial...

sgrenald's Seiko Spring Drive (it was pretty amazing to see that incredibly smooth sweeping seconds) and Ebel.

My Magrette Bronze with sgrenald's 500M.

Some of sgrenald's Lum-Tecs with my Bronze and Hugo B's Panerai and TechArt Dreamer's Lum-Tec.

Hugo B's Panerai... very nice dial! It was difficult to capture the color of the dial inside Cheesecake.

Sal's Raymond Weil... nice, big, and heavy!

It was now time for the raffle and I was fortunate enough to win the first prize! A custom strap from The Strapsmith.

sgrenald was the other lucky person and won the G-Shock Rescue!

After Cheesecake we went boutique hopping... Hublot, Panerai, IWC... and we saw these two beautiful LEs at IWC.

Hope you guys enjoyed the report and we hope that more people can make it to the next GTG. Again, it was a lot of fun and thanks to everyone who attended today and brought their watches to share with everyone.

Great shots Brian. I'm glad someone remembered to bring a camera.
That wasn't even all the watches that we brought. We had a great time! Glad we all hung out.

I had a great time, too! And I'm saying that even though I won the G-Shock. :-)
BTW, you can tell which watches are mine, because they're the ones that don't show the correct time. I just pulled 'em out of the box and threw them into my bag

(btw, I now have a herniated disc from carrying all of those catalogs. Thanks, Sal!)
Oh, and Sal was asking what a $400,000 Seiko looks like. They're going to make three of these per year: GBLS998-big__54781_zoom.jpgLast edited by sgrenald; 12-18-2011 at 09:22 AM.

Looks and sounds like a great time!! Wish I had been there. Is the JLC boutique still next door as well?

No prob. We had a good time. It was also a good time of the year to be in BH. Festive atmosphere, lots of shoppers and tourists. Our buddy Blair was there via text and e-mails as he sent us photos of his watches from Disneyworld.
Seth, i had actually seen that Credor, never new it was from Seiko or that it cost as much as they do.
