L4P Review™ IWC 3756 GST Perpetual
Technical Info:
The Model IW3756-07, was constructed under the "GST" series by IWC. GST indicating that each model within the series was to be made in Gold, Steel, and Titanium. This model below is one of the Steel Models with a Rhodium Dial.
Movement: automatic IWC Caliber C.79261 with module for perpetual calendar produced in-house, 28,800 vph, 43 jewels and power reserve of 44 hours is finely tuned by hand.
Click HERE More Info on Movement:

Functions: The 3756 is very complex in its delivery of information, inside an intricate set of gears that allow it to display: day of the week, the date (changing automatically for months with fewer than 31 days, and every 4 years adding a day to february to coincide with the leap year), the current month, and a 4 digit year! (the only hinderance in this and all perpetual calendars are that every 100 years they need an adjustment (one less day in february) as leap years are those years divisible by 4 but not divisible by 100 (not including years divisible by 400 (2100/2200/2300/etc are not included)

Case: Stainless Steel, 43 mm in diameter and 16 mm in height, with screw-in crown, domed sapphire crystal and snap-on solid back is water resistant to 3 atm
Dial: rhodium, applied Luminous hour markers and baton hands

Band: The stainless steel bracelet on this model is especially interesting considering it uses a "push button" system to remove and add links. A simple push of a button on the back with a tool or even a toothpick allows you to remove each link individually or even remove the bracelet from the watch with the same motion... this makes adjustment very easy with minimal tools but also allows a refinish to be done very easily since every single link can be separated into polished pieces and brushed pieces.

My Thoughts:
My personal feelings are that this watch is a modern marvel and clearly one of the 4 "greats" when it comes to horology (ultra thin, perpetual calendar, tourbillon, repeater) the fact that this watch shows the current year instead of a 4 year indicator (usually a perp cal just shows you which year you are in 1/2/3/Leap) also the fact that everything on the watch is very legible and the chrono is also very legible make the watch very useful in day to day reading. Other brands would charge close to 6 figures if not more for a watch of this caliber but IWC is able to create this watch for a nominal mid/low 5 figure range.-Riley Wysocki

Any alternative OEM strap options? With ease of removal, would be a nice option. Would also rather have the center links brushed instead of polished.
