Default Casio G-Shock GB-9600- The first blue tooth Gshock!!!

I know we have more then a few gshock fans, to I thought you guys would like this

It definitely makes sense to have a watch that can sync with your smartphone, especially if you’re busy or have to drive everywhere. What I like about these types of watches is that they allow you to get info from your phone without taking it out of your pocket.

The Casio G-Shock GB-9600 was designed to sync with your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0. The watch will let you know about incoming calls, messages, and emails. The phone is water- and dust-proof. It comes with a 4-inch OLED screen. In the demo video, it’s shown syncing with the new NEC Medias PP N-01D Android smartphone, but it’s not clear if it works with other Bluetooth 4.0 phones, like the iPhone as well. I would hope so.

Of course, the watch offers the time, stopwatch and alarm features of standard G-Shock watches. It sells in black, white or red for ¥18,000 to ¥19,000 (~$230-245 USD).

That's pretty sweet, I'm not a big g-shock guy, but I'd rock it.

The only issue is that most cell phones in Japan are about two years ahead of what's being served up in the States. North American phones run on a different set of frequencies from Asian phones and its hard to field test something built in Taiwan because of the frequency issue, so we get tried, true and old and blue phones.

Bluetooth is pretty much an international standard spec
