    Default Tourbillon Stores

Just wanted to share my good experience.

Have any of you guys/gals been to any of the Tourbillon stores? I first read about them in an article in Watchtime magazine that featured an interview w/ the controversial Mr Hayek Jr. I then came across one of their stores at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA not knowing that this was one of many concept stores for the Swatch Group. The gentleman there, gave me a whole presentation on some of the newer Blancpain and Breguet models. He even had a great selection of straps for my wife's Breguet! The service was second to none and he and I are actually in talks about getting me a limited edition model.

I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and again, I came across one of their stores in the Crystals Mall @ the City Center. Once again, I was blown away with the customer service shown to me. Keep in mind, I'm somewhat young, might even look younger than my own age and am usually not given a second look when I'm at the boutiques on Rodeo. The salesman spent some time going over the newer models and even as far as demonstrating/explaining the difference in movements. Definitely have a new appreciation for the Omega brand.

For those curious, the Swatch Brand includes : Breguet, Blandpain, Glashutte Original, Jaquez Droz, Tiffany & Co., Omega, Leon Hatot and of course Swatch. And now the link to their website : Tourbillon Boutiques - Breguet, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Jaquet Droz, Léon Hatot, Omega, Swatch

Yea, I visited the one at the city center in Las Vegas. Both me and my buddy who are in our mid 20's walked in and were treated like we were long time customers. Very personable sales people and they had a great collection of watches. Our conversations weren't really even about watches. They asked where we were from and how our vacation was going. I was thoroughly impressed because every other watch shop in vegas hardly gave us the time of day.

Yea most of the watch stores in Vegas treat people, especially young people, like they don't belong in the store. The one in the Palazzo that sells APs has very friendly staff though.

I am not young so I don't get that...will be in NYC for October and can't wait to see the boutique there. Kind of surprised they put it on Wall Street. Of course, that's where the money goes on the way to China. My only fear is that all these boutiques are gonna eventually shut down the brick and mortar ADs and jack up prices and even diminish gray market.

That actually happened to be our other good experience. I was told that someone in the Palazzo had Richard Mille, so we went looking for it. I never did find the store that did, but on our way we stopped in there and had a good 20 minute discussion about AP's. Very friendly staff.

Seems like it is no coincidence that we are all reporting good experiences in the same boutiques. Sounds like they just know how to treat customers.

This store is actually like an AD store. I guess you could call it the Swatch Group's brick and mortar. Gotta admit, I get far better service for my Breguet at Tourbillon, than I do at the Breguet boutiques.
