    Default Daily work watch

Hey guys, I've been looking around for a decent stylish watch I can wear to work. I manage a restaurant so I'm not even gonna bother looking at anything expensive. I'm considering just budgeting around $500. I'd prefer something fairly simple, with a black or other dark face. I have been using a Fossil watch(idk the model) that cost me $100 about 8 months ago and now that I have more to spend I'd like to upgrade. Any suggestions?

    I agree with the above....

if you need more answers about a particular model, then ask about that.

I know. I just think the forum as a whole has a lot of new members. A lot of us have been here for a while and recognize all the old guys. As new people come in, they will ask new people type questions. I asked stupid questions when I was new as well.

    Now to be helpful...

I think you should look into pre owned. Working in a restaurant is going to be potentially hard on your piece. Try Hamilton and Tissot. Some of their entry level pieces can be had new at that price point. You could move into a piece that retails at 1500-1700 for your price point if it has some wear on it. Check out the Hamilton X Copter. I may have an opportunity at one BNIB near your price point. PM if you are interested and I'll make a call.

I suggest a Lum-Tec M Chrono as it's in your price range and those come with matching metal bracelet, leather strap, and rubber strap.
