What Rolex is this
So a girl I vaugely know had a grandfather who passed away recently and she got this Rolex (thats the story).
Thing is, she's only trying to sell it for $400, so I wanted to see if any of you could take a look at the pic I;ve enclosed which is poor quality and tell me what model this is and if there are any key indicators that I can look at to see if it's real or not?

the easiest way to see if it is a fake is to watch the second hand.....it should move in a perpetual motion not stopping in between ticks. With that said, some fakes are good and can replicate the movement, the best way is to take it to the local Jeweler and have the case opened.

Thanks... I knew about the perpetual movement but also realized that the good fakes can replicate that.
Any thoughts on what model this might be, I'm thinking an older datejust?

It's a Darejust. However the band is not from DJ as stated above. If it's solid gold, it should have nice weight to it.
