    Default Vintage watches?

Show of hands how many of you not only collect but also wear vintage watches? If so do you have a particular favorite?

Don't collect, but I do have a mid-50s rolex that I wear on occasion.

I'm an avid collector of vintage Rolexes. My favorite currently is the first one I acquired....an Explorer II 1655 model (incorrectly called a Steve McQueen, and more correctly known as an EXII Freccione b/c of the orange 24 hour hand).

When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing

Depends what you call vintage I guess, but this is my German 1974 Speedmaster TV Dial, worn probably 50% of the time..

I guess that depends on whether I'm vintage. This is supposed to be from my birth year (1978), I'm not sure how original it is but at least the movement looks authentic

I really want to and I know I eventually will get into collecting vintage Omegas. I browse photo threads of vintage Omegas all the time and I just love how they look, probably like them more than I like the majority of modern Omegas (except for the Aqua Terras...those are absolutely gorgeous ).

I just don't have the time right now to do enough proper research on them to feel comfortable purchasing.

I have some in my vault but have not worn any in last year. My favorite is a 1982 Auricoste Spirotechnique diver that I bought as NOS> I think it is the only watch i ever bought that has actually appreciated in value based on the prices i see out there now. This is someone else's watch but mine is exactly the same.
