Support the L4P sponsors. Buy out of state and you save on tax and probably get a better deal.

Sorry folks for the late check in. Thanks for all the tips and responses. I ended up going to Razny since it's local to me. I didn't expect to purchase something on the spot, unless they gave me an exceptional discount. I ended up loving the new Explorer and was able to compare it to the older 36mm explorer and new Sub. When I asked for pricing, the sales associate said "FULL RETAIL + TAX." I assume they don't give any discounts to new customers. I kindly told them I would think about it and left. Another Fast forward to a few days ago, found a great explorer (39mm) for sale locally. He purchased this watch brand new from a local AD in early December. He provided me his original receipt and I essentially purchased this watch @ a 25% discount. All papers, receipt, box, etc, in tact. The watch is MINT. Although I would have loved to purchase this watch from an AD, this deal was too good to pass up.

Question: In your opinion, would it be in bad taste to go back to Razny for a sizing? Or any other places would you recommend for this? Since it's my first decent watch, I'd like to have an expert set it properly for me.

If you do business with another jeweler (non rolex AD), I'd have them size it. They could certainly do it and wouldn't mind, since you've done business there. If that's not an option, go to the AD and have them do it. More than likely, they're not gonna remember you.

Call razny in addison and talk to derrick. Tell him Nadeem sent you. He will take care of you.

First off, congrats on the buy. I'd have no problem going to them to size it. They're a Rolex AD so there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to do it for you.

Feel free to call me for anyone out there shopping for Rolex. I work with a few US dealers and get you a discount, plus your name on the warranty. You will have full 2 year rolex warranty with your name on the warranty card, plus the best price that I can give.
