Default n00b question: when to buy?

Hope this isn't too dumb a question. And I apologize if there are multiple threads (i didnt see a sticky) and if this post is on the wrong board.

I am interested in an over sized watch. specifically tw steel. It's my price range and they look sharp (im open to any and all suggestions).

But should i buy now or wait till after xmas?
Or do these kinds of watches never go on sale?

specifically the tw steel ceo canteen.

    Thanks!

Recently purchased a 623 from David. Great watch at a great price, and David and his staff were a pleasure to do business with.
