What is the price on the Chotovelli? It looks great no your wrist.

$445 Picked it up hoping the wife would like the whole bigger face watch deal. She did, and now she thinks a PAM would be an ok investment.

Other than the 127/217, the 212 was my favorite PAM at one time. I now have a new favorite which is half the price of the others. PAM233!!

i have big wrists so when i try on a Rad it just looks weird on me, i have the 253 which is the same as the 212 except a special edition and i love it, i had a 171 prior but i like the 1950 case style better

if you can't make up your mind just get a Rad 183 black seal and a Luminor base

just overpriced as hell, putting 5-10mins of effort into it you can find a reputable guy who will sell you one much much less... thousands of dollars saved for 10 minutes of your time...

Come on Riley. If you have a better guy, why don't you just tell us the contact. I know you don't like Gil, but it is nice to buy from someone that you know. Otherwise, you are just giving your money to anyone and hoping for the best.

i love radiomirs but not a fan of the 288.. a radiomir should not be a chrono or rattre at all to me..

price increase doesnt matter anyways, used market always takes 1-2 months to follow the msrp increase... new market it matters but the 213 bought new is like giving a hobo $4,500 without the write off...

i bought a brand new 212 for a little over half the msrp of the 213... and its a sick nasty watch, getting PVD coated right now.. i barely ever use a chrono so a rattre is way overkill
Take Riley's advice buy a 212, I owned a 213 when it first was introduced and the chrono much less the split second is a waste. 288 is a bad buy, the only way in a RAD is a 232 or 249.

233 is great also they had on at Tourneau bal Habrour yesterday very sweet.

Thank you for all the input everyone. My intention was not to create a post of judgement on anyone. That being said I will probably stick with a basic Panerai and start hunting (I would prefer a private purchase anyway). The journey in life is usually more rewarding than the end result itself.

its funny you say that, because i get more pleasure from hunting for a watch than getting it.. i searched for my ulysse freak in rose for 3 years and i finally got it and i was like w/e and hated it.. but those 3 years were fun...

goodluck on the hunt.. i should have my 212 back soon.. PVD coated.. ill take some pics.. im debating dumping it when it comes back and getting a 183 to PVD which would be identical to a 292 but without the pig... all these damn 292 threads and making me want one.. but im not dropping 18k on a 292.
