Default Educate me on Nylon Straps

So I'm confused. What are the features/benefits of each?
ZULU, NATO, 3 ring, 5 ring, etc. I'm confused.

Nato's and such were generally used by military and professional divers. Regular watch straps have one point of failure...if a pin snaps the watch is gone. Nato's, Zulu's and the like have two. If one pin breaks or pops out you still have the other pin holding the watch on your wrist. I have a few nato's for my PO and love them. Very comfortable and extremely easy to switch between different color nato, zulu straps.

Zulus are made from a simpler pattern and don't have the same hardware and material in the same places; in short, they don't have the second extension that holds the watch itself and have a true one-piece design. They're also made from much stouter hardware and much thicker nylon material than a mil-spec NATO. The differences owe mostly to the intended application of the designs: the NATO was chiefly intended for aviation usage but was expanded to fit many ground and dive applications; the Zulu is a dedicated dive strap. The Zulu straps are probably best suited toward big dive watches and such where a "beefy" appearance is desired.
