Default Starting Collection! Need Input Rolex Vs. Tudor vs. Omega

Hey everyone! Figured no better place to ask than on here.. I am wanting to start back into my watch fetish.. I finally want to take the leap, I have owned every Seiko Kinetic out there, as well as a few Lumtec's..

I am stuck between a Very lightly used Omega Seamaster, along with Several Tudor's. Problem is my Price Range. I would love to step up to a tried and true Oyster Stainless Rolex, but everyone is telling me Tudor is the way to go.

I know that Tudor is made/owned by Rolex however their movements are ETA in Tudor.. Is it a huge step up from a Tudor to a Oyster Stainless? Or would a Tudor or Omega be a better "starter" high-end watch?

Or if you guys have something different in mind that you would like to share let me know!

Of the ones you mentioned, I think I'd go with a Rolex GMT or Submariner. I have neither, but I think you can find a good deal on one of these on the preowned market/gray market with potential to maintain your investment.

For a starter, had to go wrong with the Seamaster...but IMO, I have both, and if I could keep one, I'd keep the Rolex.

Start with the Omega...but eventually, I think you will end up with both anyway lol

I'd say get the Rolex if you can, if not, go with Omega. Like S14roller said, you're bound to get both in the long run anyway.

I have also heard this quite a bit, lol.. I think I am going to grab the SMP, when I am ready I will step up to the Rollie.

I have heard Omega's will be going up in the next year, due to a movement change? Anyone know anything about that..?

I'd say Rolex. Its the most versatile watch I own, and gets a ton of wrist time.

Stick with ROLEX. It is and always will be a symbol of success.
