Rolex is a good starter def get a GMT, Tudors are really popular in Japan not so much in the states.

a few years ago, i was trying to decide between an omega and a rolex (among others). tried both on, the omega just didn't fit my wrist very well while the rolex was very comfortable. i really like the look of the seamaster, but it's just not right for me. try the watches you're considering on, maybe it'll make the decision easier.

Thats what I ended up doing.. Tried several on, I finally picked out the SMP with the Bond Bracelet.. One of the most comfortable bracelets, I have ever owned! I pick it up tomorrow!

Omega seamaster for me also...thats what i prefer and what i bought,,,,
Rolex ok it is a high end brand, and someday i want to buy one...
But also i m thinking that if i have the money for a rolex..why not take something else like AP
from more expensive rolex i would prefer defenetly a Patek Philippe or a Vacheron constantin or a jaeger le coultre.... it is like old money vs neoploutism....
