LUM-TEC 2010 M automatic case prototype sample is in!
This is an all new mold from the 2009 models. Also note these will be single (underside) AR coated sapphires on these models, and screw down crown. Casebacks will be engraved. This is only a proto sample to confirm the molds and finishing details.

Sweet! Just curious, how come single and not double AR?

Double AR will be an option. Just produced in single. We have about 50% of our buyers asking for single so we did these in single AR. Plently of double AR sapphires are in stock to swap on request.

Here is why I don't like double AR. Fact is if you actually wear the watch much your going to scratch the AR coating on the outside of the crystal on a double AR watch. Then it's going to look like poop and defeat the purpose of a sapphire crystal that your very unlikely to scratch.
After awhile those scratches get to you and often people will then have the outside coating stripped off.

The coating can be removed easily by polishing compound if it does get scratched.
