at a certain point you have to say, "it's just a watch." look at you cell phone for the time and buy some nice toys that you can have fun with.

I wouldn't say so. People say 6 million for a watch is to much. I think paying $100.00 for a burger is to much. Or $7,000.00 for a bottle of wine, $12,000.00 for a hotel room, or $106,500,000.00 for a Picasso painting. Then again, to others it's not.

Almost all of my friends, they would think spending $179,000 for a Ferrari is to damn much - I mean c'mon, it's just a car right?

It all comes down to what you love. In this case, someone has a passion for time pieces, and willing to pay for what they want.

Some musuem bought the piece, there is no way in he'll I could wear this around. (maybe inside my own private safe but never outside)
