Default What Do you guys think on Longines?

I'm looking at the Hydro Conquest Auto.

Is right in my price range at sub 1000.
Its stainless steal, solid construction and has an automatic movement.

What do you guys and gals think?

I like them but I wouldn't buy new from an AD, they don't keep resale value to well. Can be had 2nd hand for 500-600~
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.

Nice every day stuff, similar to ORIS. I like the Admiral line and some classic/sporty designs.

IMO- I would buy one before a TAG cause I'm sure someone here will say get a TAG instead. LOL.

They don't hold their values well at all. So buy a nice used one. That is what I do. I just got one the other day which was a fraction of the cost of new. They are a lot thinner, smaller in diameter and lighter than most of the watches which are talked about on this forum. They are really more into the traditional sized dress type market. I suggest you use one of my favorite search tools for used watches. Elite Deal Seeker

Search going back about the past 12 days.

Now if you like the size of watches that are currently the most popular. Then this is most likely not the brand for you.

Nice watches, offer good value. Picked up a classic from my wife a few years ago.

    Great Replies, Thanks Everyone.

I found a LNIB one, the guy is asking 785 Shipped.

I can prob get one from a local Tourneau for 850ish. What would you guys do? Try to beat this guy up for a good price?
