Thread: Opinions on this watch?

I keep seeing an ad for Officina del Tempo featuring this watch in multiple watch magazines so I decided to look for it since I think the design and looks of this watch is a winner.

Unfortunately, after I did some research, I discovered that the the crystal on the watch is mineral... a total turn off considering that the price of the watch is +$600. I don't mind that it is a quartz... but the mineral crystal killed it for me.

Such a shame cause the looks on this baby is spectacular... .

I personally don't like them...look very busy..

Straps on the first two look nice. Other than that, I agree that it's very busy.

Only thing good about the watch is the strap on the first...other than that looks cheap. Money better spent on a Lum Tec

The case, and the strap integration isn't too bad. However, the dial is hideous, imo. Entirely too busy, as others have said.

I kinda like the one on the top. What comes to the mineral crystal, it's not THAT bad.. The Breitling Navitimer Fighter's I had for four years had a mineral crystal and it didn't get one single scratch. Of course it may be that the hardness varies between different brands but I wouldn't let it be a deciding factor if you otherwise like the watch. So if you like the watch, go for it.
