Review of the 292 after owning one for a couple of months
The much anticipated 292 has had a strong following since its announcment at SIHH. A fellow Paneristi and L4P member Chuck Bentson recieved one of the first 292s in the country. This immediately sparked my interest after seeing his in person. A ceramic case on a rad? Who would have thought? Another fellow L4P member, Craig who also has a 292, mentioned during a dinner GTG that none of the authorized distributors have recieved any shipments of the 292 and that some of these stores have stopped taking names for their waiting lists. Overall the 292 is a great everyday watch to wear with either jeans or a suit. It is allot easier to fit under the sleeve of a dress shirt then a 217 or a 127. The following pics are showing the 292 with other strap choices

A couple of months ago it was announced that the following year's production of the 292 will not the "pig" on the dial. This has helped to increase the demand for these watches dramatically. There have been some pieces which have sold in the 16-17k range in the open market already...more then double the MSRP. Overall, one of my favorite pieces. If you have the opportunity to acquire one......do it now!

I have always wondered, how do you change the strap on these models. There is no screw or driver. The piece where the strap is pulls out ?Last edited by PIXXFLIX; 08-07-2008 at 08:44 PM.

The first strap is made by Justin Chen of J cuts......its actually meant for a 44mm luminor...as you can see its kinda short........but hey, it works. I just put the straps from my 47mm luminor.......no prob. You gotta see the pics that Craig took of his......awesome shots. I think Knick has a pic of his with a suede Rob on.
