Chad told me last week that a 292 recently sold in Europe for $18k.

i am sure some will want to shoot me but
it is a cool watch and all but i would never pay that much for a Rad. reg black seal 183 for 5k would be the max for me. i guess i just love the other pam's so much
or if one day i have more money than i know what to do with then that would be an option
congrats though and wear it in good health

yeah that is just it, i have tried them on numerous times almost pulling the trigger and they just don't do it for me. sits very flat on my wrist to the point where it looks odd on me. so then i was gonna get the 249 bc i thought well a little bigger would help. nope same thing. i am sure me being a big guy has alot to do with it bc the case is flat compared to my other pieces but it just never gave me that wow factor
funny thing is i would rock my breitling black steel all day long bf the black Rad lol. just my personal op

Lol! Yeah, right! According to Panerai, the 292 is the most demanded watch ever produced by Panerai -- they have received more requests for the 292 than either the 249 or the 127. They have only committed to making 2000 pieces -- of which, only about 200 have actually hit the streets. Thats less units than the 249 and 127, both of which are selling for HUGE premiums. They might make another 1000. That would put the 292 around the same number as the 190, which is also selling for a premium, and going up in value. There are already more people on 292 lists than the first two years of production, and the lists continue to grow. The second ceramic watch produced by Panerai -- the 317 -- retails for three times more than the 292. I guarantee you that the 292 will never "be everywhere" and you will never be able to "pick up the 292 cheap."
