Thanks for the great information guys.
I don't wear a suit on a daily basis. Maybe 3 times a week or so. Usually I wear a polo and jeans or a button down sports shirt and jeans as typical office wear.
Even though I am careful, I am a bit concerned about scratching the bezel on the ROO. Here is what I am thinking as of this minute...and that is likely to change 1 minute from now. I am thinking I should get the PAM 90 as my normal daily watch, and a few months down the road I'll get a ROO to have as an occational watch.
Next question though, where do you guys by your straps from? Also, is there a custom guy/site I can order a custom strap through?
Thanks again!

I went to the Jacob & Co store in manhattan a few years ago, when diamonds were the big thing. Not really a fan of their overpriced cheap movement watches, but any thoughts about the "Epic II" watch? I just pulled up his site and it caught my eye, but I haven't never heard of it before. Any info? It seems like his watches can be had for pretty cheap prices due to his "situation".

Pam or AP can't go wrong!
I own the Pam 90 and quite a few other Panerai, in addition the AP Roo Safari & rubber clad. Pam 90 was my first Panerai, dress it up or down depending on the strap, fantastic watch with the power reserve, can't go wrong.
As for the AP, I wear mine often-no problems with the bezel, wear it & if it scratches, oh well buy another aprox $800. Buy the one that sings to you.

I am now torn between the PAM 90 and the steel JLC Extreme World Chrono.
Opinions between the 2?
