Thread: cheap beater Invicta

Hey guys, check out this watch. Thinking about snagging it for a daily beater.

My question: I am a righty, but this watch is technically designed for a "lefty" with the timing controls located on the left of the dial. I only wear watches on my LEFT wrist. Will it be weird looking to wear this watch on my left wrist? Really like the styling of this watch... tried to find the watch with the timing controls on the right side of the dial, but it doesn't exist to my knowledge..

any input?

Invicta are good everyday watches. The one posted looks good.

I have been considering an Invicta Automatic Prodiver. Timeless style and its Auto. I think they ran some with carbon in the bracelet and face. Looked at a couple at Tourneau awhile back.

I don't think the lefty thing is a big deal some pams have the controls on the left as do grams, uboat ect... With large controls its better on the left most times. I don't think you could wear a Gram coffee grinder if they were on the right.

Like a Graham Chronofighter or similiar where the crown and controls sit flush on the left side of the wrist. When one flexes their wrist, the top of the hand does not get jammed into the the crown/controls as in a standard righty model. They are actually pretty comfortable to wear.
