Thread: Help!!! Watch Auction

So, here's the deal. I am trying to put together a watch auction in my hometown to help raise money for a good cause. I need advice on how to set it up. I already have contacts to provide timepieces and even some higher end accessories, dress/casual shirts, wines, etc to put together in lots. I need advice from an accounting standpoint, how to get some free or discounted advertising, and some more business like advice to make it legit. Getting CPA's and lawyers involved may jack up the expenses. So any free (and safe) advice would be appreciated.

Do you have any friends in the media industry? News agencies (TV, Radio, Print, and now Internet) are the best and fastest ways to get some free press.

Call em up and request a spot and explain that it is for a good cause.
