What kind of shots are you looking to do? Perhaps you could befriend an AD and snap shots for them, or meet up with local members.
I'd let you snap shots of mine if you lived closer, or came to nyc.

Jeff, most of the Richemont group brands have a studio they work with already. You should try some of the smaller firms first like Anonimo, Uboat, Welder, etc to get your name out first in the market.
Watches, Cars, Community.......who can ask for anything more? Well, maybe a little DANGER
