I don't think Panerai "Blew up" I just think we have a couple too many Pam Lovers here and they have "inspired" others to pick em up.

I personally am not a PAM Fan...

I sold a lot of my watches and will be picking up an AP ROO soon.

Don't settle, just save. If you really want the watch you can do it.

Also watchuseek. com is a really good site. To be honest, I used to know virtually nothing about watches, but just stick around here and search around other watch forums and a lot brands start popping up, and these guys have a ton of knowledge.

I think watches are an extension of your personality, just like cars. It all depends on what you like. For me, PAMs, IWC, AP all fit my personality.

Sounds like a great collection. You might also want to look into IWC, some newer Tags, Omega maybe Hublot.

The AP I'm looking to get is a Rubber clad, you can get those for around 10k, probably the cheapest AP aside from the 15300.

If you're looking to pick up a watch, you should drop Rijowysock a PM, he has hooked me up big time.

Rubberclad for $10k w/box+papers is rare and if you actually find one you should go for it considering retail was like $20,200 and now I think has been brought down to the 18k range. Anything 45%+ for an AP is an excellent deal.
