G shocks are probably the most used watch for our armed forces, law enforcement and fire/paramedics... If you don't like G Shocks, then you hate America. If you hate the US of A, the terrorists win..

would take a Luminox any day over a G-Shock.
But given how durable they are nothing wrong on that scale. They just looke ugly.

Both cool but to me a Luminox is kinda confused as it doesn't know if it wants to be a G-shock or a regular watch. A g-shock is distinct with no pretensions. It does not try to be more than it is. And do you know what the G stands for? .....Gangsta~!

While I like the look of Luminox, a couple guys I used to work with owned them and were always breaking bands and complaining in general about them.

Out of the dozen or so G-Shocks I've worn, I've broken one band...and my hand almost came off with it lol.

G-Shock any day of the week.

I was in a meeting the other day and a guy was wearing this fugly thing. I could barely concentrate because I kept thinking about this thread and trying not to smile! Hahaha. I wanted to tell him about it so bad but decided to keep my comments to myself. As they say... beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Reason I ask is I sometimes watch Flipping Out and Jeff Lewis's significant other has worn the same watch every episode for two years and I want to strangle the guy only because I find the watch so hideous. He even wears it with a suit. Which will you nominate?
