    That is not a vintage VC watch; it is an old pocket watch that has been converted into a wristwatch. Plus, the movement does not meet Vacherons standards. That guy got ripped off, MAJORLY!

    With all of his gloating, I kind of hope that he crashes and burns, but how can you tell from the blurry pictures that the movement doesn't meet their standards?

    Also, it looks like someone pointed out that it's really a $3500 pocket watch.

    unless the estate auction ppl are total dumfuqs , ppl arnt that stupid as of late most of these places the do estate sales , have checked out before they list the stuff for sale . No way a 100k WATCH would slip by selling for 1,200..

    You're right the photo is rather blurry, but most of the other VC pocket watches I have seen have a higher level of finishing to the movement.

    Good point, it is only $1200. Considering people have been know to drop 10x that on a rep it could have been worse.
