    Default Watch for the GF

    Hey all -

Looking for some guidance - my girlfriend's birthday is coming up and I was thinking about getting her a watch (hopefully a nice used one). My price range is 400-500 dollars - I was looking for some suggestions for what I should check out. She has a Michelle and a bunch of those "plastic" Toy-brand watches. Anyone have any ideas? Anything for sale?

    Thanks all!

Not that I know anything about womens watches but I have seen more Tags on women than any other watch I would consider name brand, not gucci, guess or whatever those are.

Get her a Lum-Tec, in fact someone is selling quite a bit at a good price on this site. Nothing is hotter than a man sized watch on a woman

My wife has several $1000+ watches, but she wears her 3 Toy watches the most.

Appreciate all the replies! I know all about men's watches and definitely wouldn't buy something like a Gucci (or other designer). I fear that if I do get her a nice watch, she will still love to wear her toy watches - hmm - decisions decisions. Scott - what watch do you have for sale? Jim - what about you - got anything?

    Nothing for sale here.
If she's like my wife and she has 10 watches, she is going to not give a shit what the brand is and she is going to grab whatever matches her outfit and necklace best....my wife has worn her Cartier two times in 4 years...on our wedding day and then to a bocce tournament......good luck!

How about Hamilton? They do make some nice watches for women. In the price range and quality will be good.

Thanks for the responses everyone - I think a watch might not be the best choice unfortunately!! Jim - look forward to lighting up some of those cigars over the next week (I am the guy who bought the singles from you).
