Default New Ralf Tech watches in today

Today the new Ralf Tech WRX A PVD hybrid watches arrived in stock.

Most went out to customers who had pre-ordered.

Here is the new PVD Variant (the Red Arrow Limited Edition 1/22) with the Stainless Steel WRX A Hybrid, and the WRX A 'Day' Automatique.

The WRX are 47.5mm, a big bold combat watch.

A hybrid calibre uses a balance like a rotor in an automatic watch to produce motion energy. Then, the motion energy moves through a capictor to become electrical energy that’s stored in a special battery that may both accept and dispell energy (unlike a quartz watch that uses a non-renewable battery source).

So basically an automatic quartz movement like the one made famous by Citizen, the Eco-Drive.

More like Seiko's Kinetic drive that uses a rotor

I'm curious as well. The specs on the watch are pretty nice - ISO 6425 compliant, 500m WR, domed sapphire, 60 day WR, and C3 SuperLuminova. I'm thinking ~$1k would be a pretty reasonable price point.

I'm not too big a fan of the name and the description reads very "tacti-cool", which is kind of off-putting (do more people really buy watches when they see that it was in some way, shape, or form allegedly associated with some sort of Special Forces group...? ), but all-in-all the watch itself seems like a formidable diver.

Edit: Nevermind, just looked it up and found that the MSRP for the Hybrid version is 1250€ and 1500€ for the Automatic (ETA 2824-2) version. I bit pricier than I had expected TBH.

The heart of the watch is the Seiko module, but with a larger rotor. This modification is done at the Swiss workshop.

The request of the Seiko module came from the Commando Hubert.

There will be 500 of Each model and that's it. 300 available to the public, Commando Hubert have taken the first 200.

We have 1 of each in stock, Ralf Tech won't supply more till we sell, they want to keep them exclusive.

The watches are beautifully and solidly built with a great wrist presence. They always get favourable comments.

Once the watches are finished they are sent to Paris where the straps are made.

There is also a strap customisation service with a vast choice of fine materials and colours, you can even go and see your strap being made if you fancy a trip to Paris.

The straps and buckles are oversize too, and of beautiful quality.

As an example the NATO strap is quilted nylon with leather re-inforcement.

2 high quality straps, tools, NATO box, limited and numbered, and something different and exclusive, just what we like to sell.
