    Default Stella!

I've been looking for one of these for a really long time, finally found the right piece. It's a super rare President with original bright orange "Stella" dial. Perfect for the perpetual LA summertime.

I've never seen one before. Congrats on the latest acquisition!

Very cool vintage Rolex! Any idea how it got the "Stella" nickname?

Not sure. There are a few different colors of these enamel dials. They were original Rolex dials mostly made for the Middle Eastern market. They're very rare and super cool

Beautiful! Very cool timepiece as always, Steve.

Of the Stella dial Rolexes I've seen, my personal favorite would probably be the "Oxblood Red" dial in a RG case.

I've always wondered this as well but I've never come across a definitive answer, just rumors/speculation.

The Oxbloods are all little boring for my liking. I'm partial to either orange or green

Oxblood is certainly the most conservative of the bunch! No love for the baby blue Stella dials?
